Katie Krouse

Admissions Counselor

As someone who was born and raised in Oxford and had the privilege of graduating from the University of Mississippi, take it from me when I say there’s not a place on this planet that feels more like a ‘welcome home’ hug than the second you set foot on Ole Miss’ campus. There’s nothing better than a walk through the Grove on a crisp, fall day when the tree leaves reflect the prefect hues of autumn or on a sunny, Spring morning when the tulip blooms are as bright and full of life as the smiles on everyone’s faces. Both in Oxford and on campus, the culture is rich, the people are diverse, hearts are giving, faces are friendly and the food is so delicious you’ll definitely call home to tell your mom about it.

Not only is the welcoming atmosphere one you’ll find yourself returning to for years to come, but the experiences lived and knowledge obtained as a student at the University of Mississippi will undoubtedly provide memories and skills you’ll carry with you for the rest of your days. At Ole Miss, you don’t just receive an education. You learn the skills necessary to become a leader in society, are provided resources to connect with industry leaders near and far and afforded opportunities to cultivate friendships that last a lifetime. The saying is true- while your tenure at the University will one day come to an end, you never graduate from Ole Miss. Oxford and this beautiful campus will always be here to welcome you home.
